Ever wonder how you might use more native species in the landscape and still keep your yard looking great and easy to maintain? Want to learn which native plants adapt best to landscape use and don’t become “garden thugs?” Join us for a look at native plants for shade, sun, wet and dry microclimates, how to design with natives and maximize their functional role in the landscape, and where to find natives plants and seeds to purchase. Horticulture professor, landscape designer and restoration ecologist Rory Klick will share tips and techniques for going native.
