Despite temperatures approaching 90 degrees, 65 native plant enthusiasts explored two beautiful native gardens in Arbor Vista outside of Grayslake. The garden walk on July 24, which was sponsored by Lake to Prairie Wild Ones, was especially 
appreciated after months of COVID restrictions.
Both gardens are the result of years of research, planting and tending by the property owners who are dedicated to making their landscapes environmentally productive while providing colorful, beautiful living spaces.
